Wilson Reading

Teachers certified in The Wilson Reading System are available to work with schools and families. The Wilson Reading System is a systematic, research based, multisensory approach to teaching decoding and spelling. The Wilson Reading System addresses the learning style of students in grades 2-12 and adults with language based learning disability; however, it is beneficial to any individual lacking basic reading and spelling skills. It is appropriate for students who are cognitively in the low average to high range with beginning literacy skills through grade six level skills if the student has not mastered the decoding and spelling process.

Continuing Education

Access 7 Services, Inc. is an approved provider of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) for Type II Continuing Education credits for BCBA and BCaBA’s.

Our continuing education seminars are available in both traditional in-person and web-based formats. Access 7’s online education portal allows professionals the opportunity to get the same continuing education unit credits online that one would obtain from attending a conventional workshop, from the comfort and convenience of your home or office. Traditional workshops are listed on the events calendar page.

All of our online  CEU and Non-CEU courses follow these guidelines:

  • Content and materials are entirely online
  • Open unlimited access to your course allows you to take the course in more than one sitting
  • The online test can be taken as many times as you wish
  • Immediate ability to print certificate of completion

 

Our interactive portal will allow you to browse a catalogue of course offerings, register and complete the course of your choosing when and where you choose. Upon completion simply print out your certificate of completion.

BCBA/BCaBA Supervision

Independent Fieldwork Supervision for BCBA/BCaBA

If you are currently taking your BCBA coursework and looking for supervision, Access 7 Services can help you. Our affordable and personable BCBA’s are eager to provide mentorship to students pursuing their certification for BCBA and BCaBA credentialing.

Access 7 Services is one of the leading school district placement agencies for related services on long island and can provide you with home and school based placements to complete your fieldwork hours.

The exact schedule of supervision depends upon the number of hours you are spending per week engaging in behavior analytic activities but typically ranges from 1 to 3 hours every other week The minimum time for BCBA hours is 13 months, for BCaBA it is almost 9 months.

The BACB requires a minimum of one hour per month of supervision (12 hours per year), two of which must be conducted in person. The monthly supervision will be provided in face-to-face meetings or via electronic video chat sessions, as required by the BACB.

The fee for supervision is a set hourly rate and will be outlined in your contract. Flexible payment options available.

Access 7 Services is pleased to announce our partnership with Cigna Behavioral Health Services. We are now an approved provider of BCBA, behavioral health services, to members of the Cigna Behavioral Health Services insurance program. Please contact Cigna Behavioral Health Services to find out if your plan includes BCBA services.
